Lagunas de ruidera
3 hrs from Alicante

15 freshwater  lagoons ending at the dam at Penarroya.
These crystal clear waters hold large carp and pike to 20kg Black Bass and the legendary Comizo Barbel with a  record standing at 16kg.
A very difficult water to fish but does produce good fishing on the day . 

Also four great lakes in Extramadura
6 hrs from Alicante

Spain’s secret fishing venue this area known as La Siberia
 or you can fly into Madrid a little over 3hrs away.

This is a serious venue and a weeks fishing is recommending with

Comizo, Barbel, Pike, Zander black bass, and massive carp available.
It is our opinion that the Spanish carp record will be broken this year from these lakes, beating the existing 35.5 kg.

This is a private and payable water, rumored to hold carp of up to 23kg .Our best last year was only 12 kg.
